Great sushi and good service, they are also tourist friendly. Do note they are closing rather early last order at 20:30.

Modern industrial decorations. Friendly staff. Interesting set menu of sushi, roll and tempura. Very good presentation of food. They have gluten free soy sauce and vegetarian sushi too. Which is a nice touchEnglish menu.

Great food! You get a very nice selection of Nigiri, Tempura shrimp & veggies, Miso soup and a sushi roll of your choosing. And of course green tea. Super tasty and the restaurant looks spacious and new. Would like to come back soon!

I can imagine that I can have delicious vegan sushi in Japan before . Shaw’s sushi really make it. All of the sushi in the set are delicious. There are 3 vegan sushi set, detail please refer to one of the photos.Staff there are helpful and polite . Their speaking English is not bad. Thanks for the chef and the other staff. Location of the restaurant is also perfect, beside a Hugh 7-11 and just opposite to the main station. Restaurant is tidy and clean. Customers can sit in front of sushi chef or tables around.Not very expensive. High C/P ratio, highly recommended. Definitely will visit again next time.

Had several high end sushis in Tokyo but this beat them all. Perfect quick lunch after a long train ride. The modern interior was beautiful. The waitress who served us was lovely, answering all our questions in perfect English and even called our hotel for us.

The most gluten-free friendly restaurant I could find in Kawaguchiko! Not only did they have gluten-free sauce (not sure if tare or soy sauce) on the tables but their tempura is also gluten free! Great atmosphere, delicious food and lovely staff, I hope to visit again before we leave town.

The sushi was tasty and fresh, the food quantity was also really good, with reasonable price for Japan. Recommend this place if you just arrived to Kawaguchi station as the shop is just across the station.

Newly opened restaurant within walking distance from the Kawaguchi train station. Really nice interior and the complimentary green tea is really great. Courteous staff and good sushi set menus.

Had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! My husband and I came for dinner, after seeing it arriving at the bus station that is near. It was closed when we arrived (in between lunch and dinner), but we made a point of coming back and having dinner there. We were so glad we did! We got a couple rolls (spicy scallop, shrimp tempura), a sashimi box (not pictured), the spicy salmon tuna appetizer, and an octopus appetizer. We enjoyed our meal so much that we went back the next day for dinner as well. If you're in the area, check this place out!

Just a few steps away from the Kawaguchiko-JR Train and bus terminal. The place is modern designed - easily recognizable.It offers hot dishes such as karage (fried chicken) and cooked benito. The sushi and sashimi menu are excellent - freshness and quality. Hard drinks and cocktails are also available during the day time. Excellent.

Shaw’s Sushi Bar & Dining is very close to the train and bus station in Fujikawaguchiko. They serve Japanese food, but with a modern touch. Prices are very reasonable and the staff is very friendly.

Really nice atmosphere, very modern and light. Staff were friendly and the sushi was delicious. The red wine was also great. Service was a bit slow, but we weren’t in a rush so it didn’t matter. They also do their tempura in rice flour instead of wheat flour and have gluten free soy sauce, so good for gluten intolerances!

Outstanding Japanese restaurant featuring shashimi, tempura, ordinary sushi, nigiri sushi, and teriyaki bento; to name a few delicacies. The restaurant is staffed by the friendly and welcoming chef owner, Masaoh, and her lovely sister Tomoko, who is trilingual (Japanese, English and Spanish). They have a lunch special featuring a wide assortment of mouth watering specialties, which is a pretty good deal, considering the high quality ingredients, taste and ambiance.

The best meal I've had. EVER. It's not easy traveling aboard and being vegetarian and Shaw's did not disappoint. We got the vegetarian special which I highly recommend! Everything was delicious. Tempura veggies, 2 sushi rolls, a hearty broth soup, and even a tiny dessert! If you're vegetarian and near Mt. Fuji, I wouldn't bother eating anywhere else but Shaw's!

I want to hear on a whim and it turn out to be very good. The sushi was delicious and decently priced. Had to much of a modern american feel to it for my friends but I loved it.

Delicious meal!! Good value for money for what you get, we got the dynamite and California roll set. Hot tea when you walk in, friendly staff and English translation on the menu. The tempura was beautiful and the small matcha cake to finish was lovely! Would definitely recommend!!

Tasty sushi with courteous, English-speaking staff. One of the best restaurants in the area.

Amazing place to eat if your in search of high quality sashimi and fantastic service. 12/10 would recommend !
